Description	A banner reading "Welcome / Home / Soldiers / Sailors" is decorated with flags, tassels, wreaths and symbols, including a shield and anchor. The banner hangs between two obelisks decorated with flags, including American flags, British flags, and French flags. Sculptured eagles are on top. Trolley tracks are in the street. Trolley wires cross overhead. Electric lights, evidently floodlights, are mounted on the pole at the left. Brick commercial buildings in the background have signs that read: "Palmer / Candies /Soda" "The Hartford / Medical Specialist" "Coca Cola" "Dentist" "Keen's Fire Insurance Agency" "Bushnell Market / 64." An advertising sign reads: "Constipated? / Carter's Little / Liver / Pills." A billboard reads: "Buchholtz / Gold Dust." Typewritten inscription on back: "Hartford's welcome to soldiers and sailors / Memorial Arch on Asylum Street, Opposite Bushnell Park."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Bushnell Market, owned by Frank P. Sano, was located at 64 Ford Street. Frank L. Palmer's drugstore was located at 376 Asylum Street.
