Description	Group of men, women and children in seventeenth-century costume prepare to disembark from a barge on the west bank of the Connecticut River. Oxen are also on the barge. Men wearing armor and holding muskets stand nearby. Men dressed as Native Americans in jerseys, tights, shorts, beaded necklaces and feather headdresses stand on the shore near canoes. A dock and a frame building are on the East Hartford shore in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Bulkeley Bridge opened to trolley traffic on December 8, 1907 and to the general public on December 21, 1907. The dedication of the bridge was the occasion of a three-day celebration on October 6,7, and 8, 1908.
