Description	Thirteen men in police uniforms are mounted on horses in front of a stone and brick building decorated with banners and bunting. Striped awnings are on the windows. Lights are on either side of the arched doorway. Trolley tracks are in the street. Inscribed on back: "This was at the bridge celebration bash / in 1909." "Sergt Andrew Williams /Reading left to Right are / Officer W. Whitehead - Retired as a Sergt / [Officer] Roach - got through / [Officer] J. Welch - now a Sergt / [Officer] H. Wardsworth [H.W. Wadsworth?] - now a Lieut / [Officer] Jerry Desmond - Dead /[Officer] F.J. Cashin - policeman / [Officer] John Brown - Dead / [Officer] Joe Derby - policeman / [Officer] Mark Keefe - policeman / [Officer] James Duffy - got through /[Officer] William Brown - Dead / [Officer] William Nelson - got through / In the window is Dep. Chief Hart and other [illegible] / this was at the bridge celebration bash in 1909."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Probably taken at the time of the Bulkeley Bridge celebration in October 1908. However, a later note suggests that the celebration in question was for the opening of the Hoadley Bridge in 1910. <br>
