Description	Group portrait of men and women standing in and beside trucks and automobiles. All wear beaked caps. Some wear eyeglasses. Some men have mustaches. One man wears knickers. Signs on the vehicles read: "The Meech Grain Co. / Red Wing / special / Flour / Coffee / Dairy Feeds / Poultry Feeds." A brick industrial building is at the left. Multiple-family residences are in the background. Laundry hangs from rope clotheslines and from rotary clotheslines on porches. Utility poles and lines are on the left. A chain link fence topped with barbed wire is on the right. Inscribed on back: "I.B. Davis place of employment about 1924 / Windsor St., Hartford at turn of R.R. tracks / toward Main St., in back of Highland Cort [sic] Hotel. / Meech Grain Co. / Photo taken looking North."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Ithamer B. Davis is listed in the Hartford city directory as a salesman at 409 Windsor Street. The Meech Grain Company was located at 77-81 Avon Street, just off Windsor Street. The Highland Court Hotel was located at 50 Windsor Avenue.
