Brick commercial buildings in the background are draped with American flags and bunting. Inscribed in image: "1806 -Canton - 1906 / One Horse Shay / Centennial Parade / Collinsville Conn." Hand-written note: "This 'one horse shay' was owned by the first governor of Conn. & is now owned by Mr. Bunnel [?] in Burlington, Ct. / Hope you are well. Mrs. Pattison, Canton, Ct."<br>
