Description	Several men, some with mustaches, race around a track on high-wheel bicycles. Crowds of spectators are in covered grandstands. A tall viewing platform is at the right. Fences surround the track. Letterpress text beneath image: "The Bicycle Tournament at Hartford - The Mile Race for Amateurs - Drawn by A. Berghaus. / September 12, 1885."<br>
Notes	According to an article attached to the back of the print, the two-day tournament was sponsored by the Connecticut Bicycle Club and attended by at least seven thousand spectators. <br>From Harper's Weekly. <br>
