Description	Gothic library building with polygonal corner towers with crockets and finials, buttresses and windows with pointed arches. The main portion of the building resembles a church or chapel. A lower section is at the left. Both portions are constructed of stone. A rail fence and leafless trees are in the foreground. Inscribed on back: "Old Library, Yale / New Haven, Ct."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>The Library was built in 1842. It became known as the Old Library in 1889, when the annex, Chittenden Hall, was added. It was remodeled in 1931 for use as the Dwight Memorial Chapel. <br>
