Description	4 story brick building on corner of two streets. Awnings over street level windows. Building on corner of Church and Chapel streets. Known as the 'Forbes Building', or 'Exchange place', or 'Exchange Building'. Built by William Jekiel Forbes about 1830. Remodelled about 1895 by the Hawkes and Dasn(?) branches of the Forbes heirs (having bought out the other branches) under direction of McDougall Hawkes and George D. Watson."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Connecticut Historical Preservation Commission Records notes this building as an example of Greek Revival architecture. Writing with ink on photograph.
