Description	Main Street, Westerly, Rhode Island. A number of commercial buildings can be seen. The Scholfield Studio occupies the white gable-roofed wood building partially visible at the end of the street. A sign on the roof advertises the photography studio.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. His father had established a photography business in Westerly after retiring from the textile industry. Everett Scholfield grew up in the Westerly area and lived in Mystic for much of his adult life. At several points in his career he worked in partnership with family members, with a studio in Westerly, Rhode Island. Westerly is on Rhode Island's southwestern border, across the Pawcatuck River from Pawcatuck (Stonington). Albumen print for stereograph.
