Description	View of the Mystic River looking south toward the railroad bridge. A ropewalk can be seen at Pistol Point on east (Stonington) side on the left. Buildings and waterfront structures can also be seen on the Groton side of the river.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Charles Mallory & Sons shipyard produced a number of vessels in the period 1849-1875. The Mallory family's maritime enterprises were a cornerstone of Mystic's mid-nineteenth century prosperity. Photograph in album, probably by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
