Description	Scenic view looking north on River Road, Mystic. Elm Grove Cemetery can be seen across the Mystic River on the Stonington side. Two men and two oxen can be seen on the road in the foreground. A wood fence runs along the river bank to the right of the road. Two people sit in a small boat in the water next to the river bank.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Printed at left-hand margin of card: "E.A.SCHOLFIELD MYSTIC RIVER, CONN." Everett A. Scholfield was a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Mystic River was the name for the area of Mystic village on the Groton side of the Mystic River. This area had formerly been known as Portersville. Approximate date based on chronology of Scholfield's career. Mounted on board 5 3/16 x 8 7/16 in.
