Description	View looking up the Mystic River. Mystic Manufacturing Company buildings can be seen in the distance beyond Adams Point on the east (Stonington) side of the river. Houses and other structures in the Greenmanville area are visible to the right.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The area along the Mystic River on the Stonington side north of downtown Mystic was known as Greenmanville. The Greenman brothers lived and had their shipyard and mill in this area in the nineteenth century. Mystic Manufacturing Company focused on production of woolens and occupied the site of earlier textile enterprises, including a mill owned by George Greenman & Company. The surving brick buildings are presently part of Mystic Seaport, as are Adams Point and a number of former Greenmanville buildings. Probably taken by the Gaskell who owned Mystic Pharmacy. Approximate date based on dating of related photographs.
