Description	Embossed on card in blue lower right.Scholfield". View from the Pequot Avenue area looking east across the Mystic River toward Greenmanville. Stone walls and fields on the Groton side of the river are visible in the foreground. In the distance, the area that is presently the site of Mystic Seaport can be seen, including (from left to right) the Rossie Mill, Mystic Manufacturing Company and Adams Point. The Mystic Manufacturing Company complex, to the left of Adams Point, includes a brick building that is now Mystic Seaport's Stillman Building.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The area along the Mystic River on the Stonington side north of downtown Mystic was known as Greenmanville. The Greenman brothers lived and had their shipyard and mill in this area in the nineteenth century. Everett A. Scholfield was a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Mounted on gray card, 11 x 14 in.
