Description	Apparent winter view from the top of the Elihu Spicer house on Elm Street, looking southwest toward Mason's Island. Houses, streets, yards, the Mystic River waterfront, and the open railroad drawbridge are visible. What may be a light sprinkling of snow can be seen on the buildings, trees and ground.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Captain Elihu Spicer, Jr. operated the Texas (steamship) Line with his partner Charles Henry Mallory. He was responsible for the construction of the the Mystic & Noank Library on a site opposite his house in the 1890's. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
