Description	Nine men or women sit in what is identified as an eight-man rowing shell (eight rowing and one as coxswain), apparently moving out into the water. In the left foreground, a man is standing on a floating dock on a number of oars can be seen. A passenger vessel is in the upper left, beyond what appears to be a dilapidated pier. The opposite shore of the river can be seen in the background. Printed in upper left: "New London, Conn./Red Top, Freshman's Training Quarters./"Getting Away."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Possibly associated with the Yale University team, which was based in Gales Ferry for the Harvard-Yale regatta. Postmark is recent.
