Description	View of the interior of the Mystic Hook and Ladder Co. firehouse. A horse-drawn fire engine with side lamps can be seen to the left. Buckets appear to be hanging from the back of the engine. On the right, a chandelier hangs over a table and chairs. A stairway leading to a closed door can be seen behind. To the left of the stairway is a mirror and what may be a sink. A large stove or furnace, apparently used for heating, can be seen in the right foreground.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Mystic Hook and Ladder Co., No. 1, was organized in 1883. The firehouse stood on the east side of Gravel Street just north of West Main Street, Mystic. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
