Description	Shipbuilding scene, possibly at Eastern Shipbuilding Company, Groton. Men can be seen inside the hull installing (ceiling) planking in a large vessel.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Eastern Shipbuilding was in business from 1900 until shortly after the launch of the steamship Dakota in 1904. It had been taken over by the United States Shipping Corporation in 1902. New London Ship and Engine Company (Nelseco) took over the site in 1910. Shortly thereafter Nelseco officially became a subsidiary of submarine maker Electric Boat Company. The company manufactured diesel engines for submarines on the former Eastern Shipbuilding site and later, submarines for the Navy. Negative is broken and scratched.
