Description	Men and women are picking strawberries in a field at a site identified as Benajah Davis' "Truck Farm" at Whitehall. Two men stand to the right of the people working. A house can be seen in the right background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Whitehall area was on the east side of the Mystic River, just north of where Interstate 95 now runs. The house on the site that bore that name (not the house in the photograph) was moved to the opposite side of what is now Route 27 in the early 1960's to make way for the highway and is now a bed and breakfast inn. Taken by Edward H. Newbury, a Mystic businessman and amateur photographer.
