Description	Twenty-one men, possibly a group of World War I recruits, stand on the steps of the Mystic River Bank, Mystic. Men in the center back hold an American flag, and are dressed in military garb. The rest of the group are in civilian clothes, and are wearing hats and ties. Features of the bank building visible behind the group include four pillars, tall windows with bars, and a sign over the doorway that reads: "MYSTIC RIVER BANK".
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Possibly the Mystic River National Bank, West Main Street. Embossed at center bottom: "Tingley/ MYSTIC, CONN." George E. Tingley was a noted Mystic area photographer. In his early career, he was an assistant and later sometime partner of Everett A. Scholfield. After 1894 he worked independently. Mounted on beige board with grey border, 8 x 10 in. Board is stained and foxed.
