Island)
and
New
York
City
. She
burned
to the
waterline
in
1893
in
Washington
,
D.C
.
George
Greenman
and
Co.was
a
family
firm
owned
by the
three
Greenman
Brothers
. They
built
97
vessels
between
1837
and
1878
. The
shipyard
was
located
at
Adams
Point
in the
Greenmanville
section
of
Mystic
, a
site
that
is
now
part
of
Mystic
Seaport
.
