Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Handwritten on back: "Huntington St." and "F.W.M." and "N. London" and "Fred". St. James Episcopal Church, at the corner of Federal and Huntington Streets, was founded in 1725. The current Gothic Revival structure was designed by Richard Upjohn and built 1847-1850. The mansions that came to be known as Whale Oil Row were built between 1835 and 1845 by Ezra Chappell and owned by families whose fortunes were mostly made in whaling. The buildings are considered a fine example of Greek Revival style. Albumen prints mounted on yellow card.
