Description	View looking south from the former Greenman brothers' shipyard on Adams Point toward the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Greenmanville. The back of the church and of several houses also facing on Greenmanville Avenue can be seen.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The area along the Mystic River on the Stonington side north of downtown Mystic was known as Greenmanville. Brothers George, Clark and Thomas Greenman lived and had their shipyard and mill in this area in the nineteenth century. Photograph in album, probably by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. The Seventh Day Baptist Church was moved from farther south on Greenmanville Avenue to its present location in Mystic Seaport in 1954.
