Description	View looking south along the Mystic River from the old Mallory shipyard area toward downtown Mystic. Houses are visible along the river shore in the Holmes Street area. Gambrel-roofed building in center is the Mallory rigging loft. Central Hall can be seen in the far right background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Charles Mallory & Sons shipyard produced a number of vessels in the period 1849-1875. The Mallory family's maritime enterprises were a cornerstone of Mystic's mid-nineteenth century prosperity. Photograph in album, probably by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
