Description	A man stands in a boat next to a dock in Noank. He has a white mustache and is wearing a white shirt and dark vest and pants. Behind him other boats are visible in the water. A man in a dark suit with his back to the camera can be seen to the left, possibly standing in one of the other boats. Further to the left, young girl and woman are sitting on what appears to be a wood box on the dock. Both are wearing light-colored dresses. The girl appears to be barefoot. Handwritten in pen lower right: "Mary L. Ashbey"
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Handwritten on back: "Dear Mother: - this is the picture Mr. Landon had enlarged and sent to father. Don't you think it a good one? You can just see Mr. Percy in his boat off in the distance. That is little Dorothy Hilton and her mother and father on the dock. They are English people too so father is the only Yankee in sight. With love from both of us Eva." Possibly taken by E.A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
