Description	View looking west toward Greenmanville Avenue. Several buildings can be seen on the west side of the street. In the middle is the Clark Greenman house. The west (Groton) side of the river can be seen in the background. A stone wall is visible in the foreground.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The area along the Mystic River on the Stonington side north of downtown Mystic was known as Greenmanville. The Greenman brothers lived and had their shipyard and mill in this area in the nineteenth century. Photograph in album, probably by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. The Clark Greenman house is one of three built side-by-side along Greenmanville Avenue by the Greenman brothers. His is the middle house. All are now part of Mystic Seaport.
