Description	Starboard beam view of the motor yacht Sea Puss underway on the Thames River. The Groton or New London shoreline can be seen in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Handwritten on negative sleeve: "Sea Puss". Stamped on original negative sleeve: "75256F / Sea Puss / NEW LONDON / 1936 / 4256 / John T. Pratt, Jr.". Sea Puss was designed and built by Consolidated Shipbuilding Corporation in 1933. She had two gas engines and measured 65 feet in length. Her home port was Glen Cove, Long Island. John T. Pratt, Jr. was her owner in 1936. Taken by Rosenfeld and Sons. Morris Rosenfeld founded the New York City-based photography business in 1910. He was a prolific photographer particularly noted for coverage of yachting and other maritime subjects. His sons Stanley, David and Bill were also active in the profession and the family firm.
