Description	Port view of two motor yachts tied up at wharf on the Mystic River in front of the Lathrop Engine Company building, Holmes Street, Mystic. The yacht on the right is identified as Dreamer II. Other buildings can be seen in the left and right background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. James W. Lathrop founded J.W. Lathrop & Company in 1897. From 1898 until its sale as Lathrop Engine Company in 1954, it manufactured marine engines for power yachts and fishing boats, occupying several buildings in the Holmes Street area of Mystic. Dreamer II was a power yacht designed by Thomas S. Bowes and built by Smith & Williams, Co., Salisbury, Maryland, 1926. She was owned by Colonel J. G. Darden. Two holes in photograph at left for ring binder.
