AND TRADING CO." Railroad tracks can be seen on the right, as well as a number of commercial buildings and houses. The north end of Stonington Harbor is visible in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Ship Construction and Trading Co. was given a contract to build two freighters for the government during the World War I period; 320 men were employed on the project. The company occupied sites along the Stonington Borough waterfront, including the former rail-steamboat terminal of the New England Navigation Co. and the old Stonington Railroad roundhouse.
