Description	Port view of the motor yacht Plover of Mystic, hauled out, possibly at the Post boatyard in the Fort Rachel area of Mystic. Ladders can be seen leaning against the hull. In the right background a brick building with arched windows is visible, probably the car barn of the Groton and Stonington Street Railway company. The boat's name and home port are partially obscured by the rudder. Lettering painted on the stern reads: "PLO__/MYS__"
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Franklin G. Post was a boatbuilder who had shops at two locations in Mystic. From 1914-1923 his business was located in Fort Rachel, south of the site of the old D.O. Richmond yard on the Groton side of the river. From 1923-1959 the shop occupied the site of the former Pendleton Brothers yard on the Stonington side. When his son Ernest joined the business it became Franklin Post & Son.
