Description	Sketch of Porter's Rocks, three large rocky outcroppings, on the shore of the Mystic River (not visible in this view). Barber indicates a "Level Meadow" in the foreground with a "stone wall" and "Apple" trees beyond it on the left. On the right a small one-story house, sits on a rise, with additional "Apple trees" and an expanse of "grass" to its left. Additional trees are beyond the Rocks.<br>
Notes	Preliminary drawing for Connecticut Historical Collections, John Warner Barber, New Haven, 1836. <br>In 1637, Captain Mason and his men camped at Porter's Rocks the night before their attack on the Pequot Fort about 2 mile to the southwest. <br>
