Description	Studio portrait of a woman identified as Mrs. Langworthy. Her hair is pulled back and parted in the middle. She wears a dark-colored dress with a brooch or pendant visible at the collar.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Handwritten on back: "Mrs. Langworthy/ (Auntie's Mother)". Possibly Fannie (Frances) Langworthy (born 1827), wife of David Langworthy, ship joiner and owner of a boardinghouse in Greenmanville (Mystic). Langworthy worked for a number of firms, including George Greenman & Co.; his boardinghouse provided accommodations for shipwrights, mill workers and others associated with these businesses. The house, known as the Langworthy/Allyn House, stands on Greenmanville Avenue next to the George Greenman house and is now part of Mystic Seaport. Printed at bottom in red: "Stiles, - Westerly, R.I." Mounted on white card, rounded corners, gold line border, 6 1/2 x 4 1/4 in.
