Description	Starboard stern view of the wreck of the two-masted lumber schooner William Boardman. Several men can be seen sitting on or leaning against the boom.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The William Boardman was built in Essex, 1864. Her dimensions were 108' x 27.6' x 7.5'. She ran aground at Eastham, Massachusetts, June 13, 1891. After being refloated she completed her journey to New York, but ran aground on the Chatham bars on her return voyage with a cargo of coal and was a total loss. Her crew of four were saved.
