Description	Crew of an oyster boat standing on what appears to be an ice-covered dock, with boat behind them, probably at City Point, New Haven. Identified on back as ca. 1912. The names of some crew members are noted: George W. Cruise at far right, Captain John McNeil second from left, Mose Price [possibly an African-American] second from right.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The identification of the second crewman on the right as Mose Price conflicts with identifications on related photographs. Oystering was an important Connecticut industry in the 19th and 20th centuries. New Haven and South Norwalk were among the centers of local and regional cultivation and harvesting. The peak period was 1885-1910.
