Description	View of houses identified as Greenmanville mill houses. A car is parked in front of a two-story house with pitched roof that appears to be the last house at the end of a street. To the right of the house is an outbuilding. A one-story house or outbuilding can be seen to the left of the car. Farther to the left another house is partially visible. A grassy area can be seen in the foreground.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The area along the Mystic River on the Stonington side north of downtown Mystic was known as Greenmanville. The Greenman brothers lived and had their shipyard and mill (Greenmanville Manufacturing Company, later Mystic Manufacturing Company) in this area in the nineteenth century. There were a number of houses in Greenmanville for mill workers, including employees of Rossie Velvet Mill, which launched operations in 1898. Probably taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
