contain

small

. Its
boom
period
was
during
and
immediately
after
the
Civil
War
when
it
fitted
and
refitted
a
number
of
vessels
. The
company
also
built
one
vessel
, the
iron-hulled
screw
towboat
Montaines
.
Mystic
Iron
Works
closed
in
1868
.
Oceanic
Woolen
Co
.
operated
a
textile
mill
there,
manufacturing
worsted
goods
,
until
the
July
1875
fire
destroyed
all
the
buildings
.
